No newsletter was published this month. For those who attended, the May meeting was held at The Bridges at Rancho Santa Fe. We had such a great time there were discussions about making this an annual meeting place for SDAWS. The meeting consisted of an educational lession from Lum regarding how to judge wine, including the UC Davis approach to scoring wine. We then were guided on a tour of the beautiful vineyards, tuscany setting, and lovely grounds of The Bridges. I believe we all came away with ideas for how to beautify our vineyards and landscaping.
After the regular meeting proceeded, we were treated to lunch catered by our hosts. Delicious! Finally the wine judging results were made available and we all had a chance to taste what the judges had scored. Thank you to our hosts at The Bridges at Rancho Santa Fe!!
