Bring your own lunch; we'll have a large BBQ and charcoal available for grilling. Please bring a side dish to share. You might also like to bring some chairs, along with chair umbrellas for shade, and don't forget the sun block. Dont forget to bring some wine.
Paper plates, knives forks, spoons, paper napkins and BBQ tools will be available
Events
Short Business Meeting: Selection of location for next meeting and agenda.
Election of officers
Wine swap (something you make or your favorite wine priced $10 at least [though 2 Buck Chuck isn't too bad]) We will have a drawing to give a bottle to everyone who brings a bottle.
Label Design Contest - Teams will take a concept and design a label to match. Picnic Committee will judge the entries and the winners will get a bottle of Belle Marie wine.
Pete Anderson has asked if Hal Hutsmith from Sutter Home can address us at Belle Marie on the 19th. He wants to talk about the French Clones they are growing up north and offer grapes to be done under their direction. He is also going to bring some wine for tasting. The presentation will take about ½ hour and Pete has set up the location.
Other
If you have a folding table or a canopy that you can bring, please do. Belle Marie has some picnic tables and canopies but depending on how many people come, there may not be enough.
Please RSVP to ghoward1@san.rr.com or (858) 274-5827 if you plan to attend.
Hope to see everyone there. Let's have some fun!!!!!!
